Bath towels are usually made of a material, usually cotton, that has a high water absorption capacity and provides comfort to the wearer. It should also be durable and able to withstand frequent washing. Bath towels are usually larger – usually 70×140 cm, 75×150 cm or 100×150 cm. However, sizes may vary from brand to brand and region to region.
The general process of manufacturing bath towels is as follows:
Material Selection: Generally, high quality cotton is used because this material is both soft and absorbs water well. Turkish cotton and Egyptian cotton are among the best types of cotton used to make towels.
Cut: Towel fabric is cut to fit the dimensions of the towel.
Sewing: Fabric pieces are stitched with an overlock machine. This machine covers the edges of the fabric nicely and cleanly, preventing the fabric from unraveling or splitting.
Control and Packaging: The final process is quality control and packaging of the towels. At this stage, the dimensions, seams and overall quality of each towel are checked. The towels are then packaged to be shipped to customers.
Bath towels are usually white, but different colors and patterns are also available. Also, some towels can be customized with the brand’s logo or name. Towel selection may vary depending on the general decoration of the place and personal preferences.
